Welcome to the vintage poster collection of Diane Dudy Thouin and Milan Vucetich, an artist couple from Milton-Parc.
Discover the treasures they collected in the 70s, 80s and 90s as they shared their passion for travel, art and culture. Back then, a poster was a simple and affordable way to bring memories home.
In the spirit of ‘‘ART ACT TWO ‘‘, acquiring one of these posters allow them to continue their story in your home.

A note from the intern curator

Last year I was very excited to be accepted into Concordia University's new program, Graduate Certificate in Curatorial Studies and Practices. Returning to university after nearly 30 years has certainly been an adventure. Imagine that the last time I wrote a research paper, the internet did not exist! The class experience was rich and varied, surrounded by a lovely group of students of a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and ages.
I am now in the final, practicum stage of the program and have had the unique opportunity of doing it in two phases. The first was at the Marc Séguin Foundation where I was exposed to the running of a foundation for a living artist, interfacing with a current exhibition in Repentigny, and learning about the responsibilities of creating a catalogue raisonné. For the second phase I find myself here at Studio M and am so happy to be gaining hands-on experience in this community-centred, welcoming gallery - one that is on my street and in my personal community, where I have lived since 1994! Under the generous guidance of Madeleine Murphy, I am learning about the day-to-day workings of a small, rental gallery, visiting artists in their studios, and planning future exhibitions and events.
ART ACT TWO, 2nd edition, an exhibition and sale of a donated collection of vintage posters, represents my first curatorial effort outside of school. I am very grateful for this opportunity and for your support.
