‘‘LA BEAUTÉ DU MONDE’’

For as long as I am remember, drawing as always been my most beautifulrefuge. I Would say that ever today, it remain the most delightful place where I love to found myself, pencils in hand, with the deep desire  to beauty the world in enveloping it in color. I am still driving by the same desire to draw, to paint little scenes of life that I love transform into magical moments.

At the beginning of my career, I worked on several children’s books as an illustrator and as a senior painter on film sets.

Drawing, painting opened me up to another colorful world where my imagination run free to create little scenes of the life in a colourful blend of reality and fantasy, a world  where you want to come and play.

I seat down in front of my canvas and immerse myself  in it, it transformes and surprises me. I can spent hours, days and and sometimes mounths at a time.

I would describe my style as figurative, playful and colorful. I love transforming the landscapes around me into whimsical little scenes of life, My canevases are teeming

with an infinite number of elements. You have to wonder through them and observe every square inch to discover a hiden little world.

Several canvases in this exhibition represent , on average, more than 500 to 800 hours of work. The accompanying texts allow the public to understandying my creative  process. I share with them, sometimes humorously my reflections on the events that move me. All of this stems from a desire to share with you my love for my work and the simplicity that life should be.
